The new Article section of the APFU website has been constructed as a tribute and historical record of the early pioneers of Animal Mutilation investigations here in the U.K.

The late Graham Birdsall and Tony Dodd where the first investigators to bring the U.K animal mutilation phenomena to the attention of the general public through the now defunct UFO Magazine published by Quest International.

Tony Dodd was considered the U.K’s leading authority on the subject and David Cayton continued this ground breaking work after the tragic death of Graham Birdsall and during and before, the retirement of Tony Dodd.

David instigated his own personnel campaign of awareness regarding the mutilation problem and launched himself on a neck breaking tour of the U.K in response to ‘Appeal’ advertisements, placed firstly in the “Farmers Weekly” in April 1998 and subsequently, several times in the “Farmers Guardian” newspaper, starting in 1999. This innovative idea to gather appropriate carcasses was fully supported by our collaborative professor of pathology, based in Manchester , prior to the formal formation of the APFU in 2001.

You can read the results of David’s investigations and amazing discoveries in the UFO Magazine articles listed below.
